Key Administration Guidelines
- When administering, tilt your head back slightly, pull down your lower eyelid to create a small pocket, look up, and place one drop into this pocket without touching the dropper to your eye or any surface.
- After application, close your eyes gently for 1-2 minutes and press lightly on the inner corner of your eye to prevent drainage through the tear duct.
- If you're using other eye drops, wait at least 5 minutes between different medications.
Mechanism and Side Effects
- Latanoprost works by increasing the natural outflow of fluid from the eye, which reduces intraocular pressure, making it effective for treating open-angle glaucoma and ocular hypertension.

Storage and Usage
- Store the unopened bottle in the refrigerator, but once opened, it can be kept at room temperature for up to 6 weeks.
