The FDA drug label does not support taking two consecutive 0.5mg doses of Ozempic (semaglutide). The recommended dosage is once weekly, with at least 2 days (>48 hours) between doses if the administration day is changed, and instructions for missed doses do not include taking an additional dose in the same week. Key points:
- The maximum frequency is once weekly.
- At least 2 days (>48 hours) should be between doses if the administration day is changed.
- Missed doses should be administered as soon as possible within 5 days, but not as an additional dose in the same week 1.
