Diagnosis

Acute Viral Upper Respiratory Tract Infection with Gastrointestinal Symptoms

  • Supportive care at home monitoring 1
  • Return for reassessment kung: 1
    • Hindi makakain o uminom (signs of dehydration)
    • Lumalala ang symptoms o hindi gumagaling after 48 hours
    • May bagong concerning symptoms

Plan/Recommendation

Symptomatic Treatment (PhilHealth Konsulta Formulary-compliant):

  1. Paracetamol 250mg tablet

    • Dose: 1 tablet every 6 hours as needed for fever >38°C or body pain
    • Dispense: 20 tablets
    • Duration: 5 days
    • Estimated cost: ₱20-40
  2. Lagundi (Vitex negundo) 300mg tablet

    • Dose: 1 tablet 3 times daily for cough
    • Dispense: 15 tablets
    • Duration: 5 days
    • Estimated cost: ₱30-50
  3. Oral Rehydration Solution (ORS) sachets

    • Give frequently for vomiting and to prevent dehydration
    • Dispense: 10 sachets
    • Estimated cost: ₱50-100

Total estimated cost: ₱100-190 (well within ₱300 budget)

General Care Instructions: 1

This medical certificate is issued upon the request of the patient for whatever purpose it may serve.
