Modafinil tablets are used to treat excessive sleepiness, but not the obstruction or medical condition that is causing OSA Modafinil tablets will not cure these sleep disorders. Modafinil tablets may help the sleepiness caused by these conditions, but it may not stop all your sleepiness. Modafinil tablets do not take the place of getting enough sleep. Modafinil tablets are federally controlled substance (C-IV) because it can be abused or lead to dependence.
